A long study in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Studio JSD is a lovely little place in Grand Haven Michigan that specializes in all things metalsmithing. The studio was founded by Julie Sanford (Julie Sanford Designs) in 2011, and I caught wind of it in 2016. Through fortunate circumstances, I landed an internship there over the Summer, and over the next two years opportunity after opportunity presented itself to aid their robust small business!

My responsibilities varied over the years at JSD. I’ve gone from designer to studio assistant and back again while working for Julie and her family. No matter whether I was setting type or repainting walls, I loved working for the Studio JSD staff and their incredible gem of a creative space.
